There are two main ASMC individual membership types: Active and Associate. An Active membership is available to individuals who have been or are employed in Defense financial management, as active duty or civilian personnel for DoD or USCG. An Associate membership is available for persons who do not meet the active membership qualifications but demonstrate an interest in the Defense financial management field.

Employees of private sector companies who are interested in ASMC membership may join under our corporate membership program.

• Please allow up to 10 business days for application processing, and two to six weeks for your new member kit to arrive.
• New members must allow ten business days for processing before utilizing member benefits. (See criteria for membership above.)
• The $50.00 annual membership fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.

If you were previously a member or are enrolled in the CDFM program as a non-member, please do not submit for a new membership account online.  Doing so will create a duplication of your account.  Instead, please renew by logging in to your prior account; and if you are unable to login, please do contact ASMC National for assistance.
